HOW TO GET TO SAN JUANILLO?

Most International flights to Costa Rica, arrive in San Jose (approx. 6 hr. drive to San Juanillo - 30 minutes north of Nosara) . There are a few direct flights into Liberia (approx. 2 hrs. drive to San Juanillo)
There are numerous daily commuter flights from San Jose to Nosara.

There are several agents located in Nosara that would be happy to make airline reservations with the two commuter airlines, Sansa or Nature Air or arrange for a special charter plane. They can also assist with rental cars, hotel reservations or ground transport from San Jose. Contact us if you wish more details.
Shortest Route Driving From San Jose to Nosara Is:
Main highway out of San Jose, north to the Tempisque Bridge, thru Nicoya, to Nosara (do not turn down to Samara - it adds 1 hr.)
